Spliterator

Line-delimited iterator library for CSV, NDJSON, and other delimited formats.

Spliterator reads delimited files as async iterators without loading them into memory. Mailwoman's corpus builds use it to stream address datasets with hundreds of millions of rows.

What it does​

  • Splits a byte stream on a delimiter and yields each record as it arrives.
  • Handles quoted fields, embedded newlines and multi-byte delimiters.
  • Runs in Node and in the browser from the same package.
